Change in Withdrawal of Funds From PayPal Accounts for India Users

In accordance with the Reserve Bank of India regulations, PayPal has brought about a change in its withdrawal functionality for users in India, starting from August 1, 2010.
From July 29, 2010, onwards all our LimeExchange users in India who need to withdraw money from their ewallet to their PayPal accounts will only be able to request for a cheque withdrawal of funds. Under the current scenario, all the LimeExchange PayPal account holders in India could request for either an electronic or cheque withdrawal of funds from their PayPal account.
PayPal will refund the $5 USD cheque withdrawal fee for cheque requests made on July 29, 2010 onwards
While PayPal is working hard to restore its electronic withdrawal service, we are bringing this issue into notice so that all our users are able to plan their future withdrawal activities accordingly.
Listed below are the steps to request for a cheque withdrawal:
Step 1: Log into your PayPal account, click on ‘Withdraw’.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Request a cheque from PayPal’ link. It usually takes 4 to 6 working days to process the cheque (excluding delivery).

Step 3: Enter the withdrawal amount and select your mailing address, then click ‘Continue’.
Note: A monthly withdrawal limit of $2,500 USD applies.

Step 4: Click ‘Submit’ to confirm your request.
Note: Any payments received into your PayPal account from the export of goods and services cannot be re-used for making purchases or any other payments.
